Can a 501(c)-type organization accept advertising on its website?

I think I understand the concept of non-profit, but let's say a 501(c)(4) organization (a civic organization) has a website. Can they accept advertising on their website (a link to a for-profit business) in exchange for having the business host / maintain the site?
